Getting Started
Financial planning is a process, and often getting started is the hardest part. The first step might be as simple as reviewing my bio and giving me a call. If you have time, you can check out my blog (the Advisory Notebook) and service offerings as well. If we agree to proceed, we will get together. In that meeting, we will discuss your financial objectives and relevant personal circumstances. In addition, we will discuss my approach to helping clients, and the type of engagement (investment planning, portfolio management or both) best suited to your goals. I will propose a tailored engagement and an estimated fee. Provided the arrangements are acceptable, we will begin gathering the relevant information. One such example will be your appetite for investment risk as indicated by a brief questionnaire. Regardless of whether we proceed, taking these steps will help you get started on this important process. Why not take the opportunity to inquire?
